Some may wonder why I chose to not capitalize "my" in "Winter of my Soul." In poetry, grammatical rules do not always apply and, in fact, are often completely broken in order to portray what the writer intends. In my title "Winter of my Soul" I purposely did not capitalize the word "my," and I even had to trick the publishing system in order to allow it.
Why would I purposely do that? "Winter of my Soul" was written in a dark and somber mood while trying to overcome many things. It isn't just about "my" soul, it is about everyone's soul and the darkness that can live there if we let it. I was not the important piece in this case and I wanted to minimize "my" importance in the title. Purchase "Winter of my Soul" by using the button below.
